I had the absolute joy of working with Sheireen Sim from TIL. I count myself very fortunate to have worked with such a detailed, thoughtful, and responsible ID.
I chanced upon TIL and met Sheireen by random chance. I had done much comparison with other ID firms, but settled with TIL as I felt comfortable working with Sheireen.
Having heard many horror stories of renovation, I was initially cautious, but very soon, we established a good working relationship and trust. Sheireen was very patient with my request and ideas. She was also very forthcoming in giving suggestions or blind spots that I didn't anticipate. At times, I was quite amazed by her level of detail of having to understand my ideas, intent and focus areas.
Her honesty and sense of responsbility & ownership as a project manager, allowed me to be more at ease with the project progression. She will tell me what can do, what can't, or what might be delayed due to circumstances. Her professionalism is quite admirable.
Overall TIL services were well organised, and of speed & quality. The tiling and carpentry were executed timely, acurate, and error free. This saves me a lot of time as well from having to do retification work. Office meeting location is also well equipped with materials for fruitful discussions.

This is the 2nd time we engaged TIL for our new home. 6 years back, TIL did our renovations and when we decided to move again last year, TIL was our first choice again as we were very happy with our previous renovation.
As our previous ID had left the company, we were linked to Sheireen Sim, our new ID this round. We are very glad to connect with her as she is really friendly and approachable and would always check out all our doubts and questions with her team of electrician, plumber etc and get back to us with clear solutions and details. Truly grateful as she made our renovation journey less stressful with her responsibility and responsiveness. I will strongly recommend Sheireen to anyone looking for a caring and capable ID who respects clients’ requests and is very hands on all the time. She has a good sense of colour and design styles and does her best to achieve what we want.
The only minus part is that the carpentry workmanship are not as good as what was done for our previous home. The wood used feels more flimsy and there are a few small holes that were drilled erroneously inside of the cabinets. I understand that the quality of carpentry is different as a different carpenter was used and there was a high volume of work due to the covid situation. It is still somewhat disappointing. Only thankful that the outside of the carpentry looks good and they looks just as Sheireen has designed. I guess our expectations of the carpentry were really high as our previous cabinets were really well done and has really solid wood panels.
Nevertheless, this cannot negate the high quality of work Sheireen provides throughout the journey from discussion to planning to execution. She is a wonderful ID and we are thankful to her for creating our home just as we dreamed it to be!
